Amélie is a physiotherapist with a passion for orthopaedic practice. She graduated from the University of Ottawa with a Master of Health Sciences in Physiotherapy in 2014, after completing an Honours Bachelor of Health Sciences in 2012. In 2021, she completed the Advanced Health Care Practice Master’s program in Comprehensive Musculoskeletal Physiotherapy at Western University, which allowed her to obtain her FCAMPT designation. She has also pursued extensive postgraduate training, including Gunn IMS, acupuncture, and McKenzie Part A, and she enjoys attending courses, conferences, and symposia to continually expand her knowledge and clinical skills. Amélie believes in individualized treatment approaches that focus on optimizing movement, improving function, and supporting a return to meaningful activities. She values evidence-based care delivered in collaboration with her clients’ preferences and goals. Her treatment approach combines manual therapy, exercise prescription, needling/acupuncture, and patient education. Outside of work, Amélie enjoys maintaining an active lifestyle. During her university years, she was a member of the University of Ottawa Women’s Fencing Team. In her free time, she enjoys running, hiking, going to the gym, and exploring a variety of other sports.
